An elegant and attractive pagoda top longcase clock. The fine quality mahogany case has well chosen flame veneers to the trunk door and to the base panel, both surmounted by strong mahogany mouldings. The trunk has reeded canted corners with brass inlaid and capitals to top and bottom matching those of the hood, with a long shaped moulded door over a base with applied shaped panel on a double plinth and shaped apron. The movement of Eight day duration with brass dial and corner spandrels having a silver chapter ring with Roman numerals, silver strike/silent dial to the arch and silver center with seconds dial and makers signature, with pendulum and two brass caped weights.
